Send a password that can only be read once.
Some secrets belong to one person, once: a wifi password, a door code, a temporary login. Sotto wraps them in a link that burns the first time it is read.
One secret, one view
- Create the link. One command, from a secret you already store or one you type on the spot.
- Send it anywhere. Text, email, chat. The channel never sees the password, only the link.
- First view burns it. The moment it is read, the link stops working. Screenshots of it are useless afterwards.
$ sotto share WIFI_PASSWORD
share link (acme-api/dev) - burns after 1 view(s):

Does my mum need to install anything?
No. She opens the link, reads the password, and the link burns. A browser is the whole requirement.
What if she opens it again later?
She gets a message that the link is no longer valid. If she needs the password again, send a fresh link.
Can I add a passphrase on top?
Yes. sotto share --passphrase prompts for one, so reading the link needs the link and the phrase.
